"PESTO DIP"

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 10 oz pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed & drained
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup pignon (pine) nuts
  • 2 cups fresh sweet basil, shredded coarsely
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

1) Blend all ingredients in blender or food processor till almost smooth.
2) Cover, chill. Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
