7/24/98.....I love you, Daddy.
......and I hope this will be a shining beacon for my mother, who must now go on alone.....after 52 years of marriage to my father. I'm here for you Mom......anytime you need me.
.....I thought for almost a year that the reason God was taking my pets was to prepare me for my Father's impending death...and He had me break my foot two days after to distract me for the time being....
...A thought came to me one day....Mom & Dad got a Schnauzer because they liked mine so well....and Dad always liked cats....Mom is not fond of them....
...Now my Father is in heaven....and he has my Schnauzer he was so fond of....and my sweet cats....and Mom still has their Schnauzer to keep her company....guess things happen for a reason, eh?
...I still believe my foot was broken to distract me....but now I also believe Daddy is up there feeding treats to Kandi & Chad & Bandit....
I have to believe that....to get through the days & nights....
