HOLIDAY PUMPKIN PIE

INGREDIENTS:

Mix in a 3 quart bowl:

  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp flour
  • 1 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice

    Add and stir until smooth:

  • 1 lb can pumpkin (2 cups)
  • 1 & 2/3 cups evaporated milk (1 tall can)
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten

    1) Pour mixture into 9" unbaked pie crust.
    2) Bake at 375 degrees 50-55 minutes, or until knife
    inserted 2" from edge comes out clean.

    (Note: Pumpkin Pie Spice can be made by using:
    1 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1/2 tsp ginger, 1/4 tsp cloves)
