"CHEDDAR-BACON DIP"

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 8 oz pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 5 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 4 small tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 16 oz jar taco or picante sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb. sliced bacon, cooked & crumbled
  • Tortilla or taco chips

    1) Mix together cream cheese & sour cream. Spread in ungreased
        13 X 9 X 2 baking pan.
    2) Combine onions, tomatoes & green pepper, sprinkle over cream
        cheese mixture.
    3) Spoon on taco sauce, top with cheddar & bacon.
    4) Bake at 375 degrees 20-30 minutes until the cheese melts.
    5) Makes a LOT of dip !!
