INGREDIENTS (Serves 8) |

1) Brown sausage or bacon, cool. Crumble bacon, if used. |
2) Beat eggs & milk together. Add salt & mustard and beat again. |
3) Add bread & stir until it softens. Stir in cheese, mushrooms, sausage / and or bacon. |
4) Pour into a greased 9 X 13" baking dish, refrigerate overnight. |
5) Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Let stand a few minutes before serving. Increase baking time if recipe is doubled. |
Serve with hot biscuits, fresh fruit, or pancakes / waffles ! VARIATIONS: Add if desired: diced green chiles, tomatoes, diced green onions, tater tots, hash browns, cubed potatoes, etc. |
