"WINE DOUGH FOR A HOLIDAY HAM"

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons dry mustard
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper



1) Mix above ingredients with just enough cooking sherry, red wine -- either rose or burgandy -- to make a stiff dough....buy extra, to drink as you prepare...
2) Roll out dough 1/2" thick, wrap around ham, seal edges with water.
3) Bake 20 minutes per pound of ham at 375.
