"FILLY's FLUFFY CORN FRITTERS"

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 can whole kernal corn, drained

    1) Mix together dry ingredients, add milk & egg.
    2) Add corn & drop by spoonfuls into deep, hot grease (375 degrees).
    3) Fry till golden brown on each side, drain on paper towels.
    4) Serve with maple syrup if desired. Makes 16-18 fritters.
